7 Cords Foundation is a strategic, comprehensive program that seeks to connect young people in middle through high school with an introduction to and growth in STEM.  Our Foundation is committed to connecting students, parents, and supporters (including schools) to programs providing high levels of STEM education opportunities through experiences with robotics, coding, and drones.

Our robotics program strives to provide equitable educational opportunities to students of all backgrounds, particularly low income and under-represented students, with an emphasis on teaching the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and specifically programming. The goal is to reduce the opportunity gap, allowing students to gain beneficial skills for the rest of their academic and professional careers. We believe that it is important for students to have access to a quality STEM education, regardless of socio-economic status.

According to the World Economic Forum, the top skills required for the future are higher order thinking skills such as problem solving and creativity. But, studies show that only 4% of U.S. classroom work requires these skills.

Our mission is to help children develop creativity and critical thinking, expanding access to important computer science skills for success. Every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science, just like other cores biology, chemistry or algebra.

Our mission is to introduce and encourage students to gain experience and knowledge in the ever-growing drone industry. Our drone program motivates young students to solve real world problems through the use of drones. The usefulness and applicability of drones in everyday life is and will continue to evolve into a very important part of human life for years to come. The various areas where drones have proven to be invaluable continues to grow: evaluating work-sites, supporting global logistics, delivering medical supplies, and also in disaster relief by assessing damage, locating victims and delivering aid.  Drones are a fun route into STEM.
